The Arnott Area Star Riders Snowmobile Club was incorporated in 1972. The club was started by individuals dedicated to the growing sport of Snowmobiling. When initiated the club had one trail and was groomed with nothing more than a homemade drag made from an old bedspring pulled behind their own snowmobiles.
Our Club has grown from that single trail to 26 miles of funded trails. In growing to a larger trail system, the club has remained dedicated to Trail Maintenance, Snowmobile Safety and Promoting Local Tourism in the Greater Arnott Area. With the help of many individuals over the years Arnott Area Star Riders has made strives to keep up with the changing of times, while still providing a family feeling. It is this dedication to snowmobiling and family that our club strives to encourage in all our events.
Wisconsin now requires all snowmobiles on the trails to have a Wisconsin State trail pass. As a member of a snowmobile club and the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs (AWSC), you’ll enjoy a significantly reduced trail pass cost of just $10 per year. Without membership, the cost is $30 per year. Joining the Arnott Area Star Riders qualifies you for this exclusive discount, saving you money while supporting your passion.
Take the first step to becoming part of a community that values snowmobiling as much as you do. Join us today!
If you are an avid snowmobiler and have never belonged to a club, shame on you. The trail system in Wisconsin is completely maintained by Volunteers. Trail funding is only partly funded by State funds. When the state money runs out trails are maintained by club money. This money is raised by club members Volunteering their time and money to help raise money for our club. A $30 or $40 membership is a small price to help keep our trails safe and meet new people who enjoy the same sport.
If you are a club member who has let their membership lapse, update your membership (we also offer Online services w/PayPal at Arnottstarriders.org), take note of our dates and volunteer. By volunteering you get the satisfaction of knowing that you helped keep our trail system strong for generations to come.
